I am a Floridian and I am a Christian asking you to VOTE NO on SB 282 because I am concerned about the long-term consequences of this bill.  If passed this bill would:
•	allow one commission of unelected bureaucrats to make unproven accusations of statutory violations to bring felony criminal charges against a religious college without any due process or appeal process.  
•	permit any two private secular schools to have the same authority as the commission to make unproven accusations resulting in criminal charges against a competing religious college. 
•	create unconstitutional regulations that could eliminate the ability of churches to create Bible schools in Florida without the federal government’s approval.
The current legislation for the regulations of Religious Colleges provides the Commission with the authority to regulate Bible Schools. There is no need for such draconian penalties and unconstitutional requirements.
Even the supporters of this bill say the problem is ENFORCEMENT OF CURRENT LAWS NOT LACK OF REGULATION.
Please VOTE NO on SB 282, follow the Constitution, support religious liberty, and enforce the existing laws before creating new ones.
